Job title: Associate, Risk Management
Direct report: Head, Risk Management & Compliance
Job purpose:
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate changes to the Risk Management Framework, Risk Register, and Risk Appetite Statement
- Conduct regular risk assessments and create actionable risk treatment plans, either through a team of risk management experts or personally
- Work with the Risk Champions in the various business units to ensure identified risks are assessed and captured in the risk registers
- Monitor and manage balance sheet, market-making risks as well as other enterprise-wide risks to ensure compliance within internal risk limits and regulatory requirements
- Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis and backtesting of risk models to evaluate potential risks
- Develop and manage oversight of the incident management process and ensure that business units are reporting significant risk events
- Perform any additional task as required by the role

• Excellent analytical and investigative skills and ability to pay strong attention to detail
Education/Qualification:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Risk Management Role
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Certification in Risk Management
- Membership of a Recognised Professional Body
