Job title: Fund Administrator
Direct report: Head, Business Operations
Job purpose:
Key responsibilities:
- Review bank/wallet statements daily to successfully credit individual accounts, ensure all subscriptions are verified and approved.
- Verify cash received/paid matches unit holder values, maintain accurate records of each subscription, including amounts, dates, and share allocations.
- Ensure all necessary approvals are provided and payments have been processed in a timely manner and duly received by clients.
- Review daily exception report(s), ensure all failed payments are re-processed and completed and record all redemption transactions.
- Monitor daily fund unit price and ensure its completion, capture any spikes/losses and trigger remedial action accordingly.
- Extract trial balance and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for funds.
- Provide required assistance and documentation to Risk & Compliance during audit and for regulatory requirements.
- Engage in training programs to develop a solid understanding of asset management operations.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the operations team with performance reporting related to operations management activities.
- Ensure that all calculated and agreed fees.

The role requires proactive management of the fund in a dynamic environment that demands attention to detail; and plays a critical role in ensuring that the fund operates efficiently, meets legal requirements, and provides accurate financial data to stakeholders.
Job profile:
Skills Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments and industry regulations are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify/resolve discrepancies related to investment transactions, compliance, or financial reporting.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in fund administration activities and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, investors, auditors, and regulators.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification:
- 5 years of experience in fund administration or related fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- GISI-CISI, Ghana Stock Exchange certificate or similar qualification is a plus.
